Just got back from a trip out to Blue Spring and I'm still grinning about seeing a big female manatee cruising along with her calf. Been doing this for years but it never gets old. If you're planning on heading down that way, make sure to check the flow rates at Crystal River too - better chance of spotting 'em if the water's moving good.
