Just got back from a week-long camping trip in Big Cypress and I'm still trying to process the gator sightings - yeah, it's that crazy. For those who want to see 'em in their natural habitat, I'd say late winter to early spring is prime time. The babies are hatching around this time and they're just chillin' on the banks with their moms. Has anyone else experienced the thrill of watching alligator babies learning to swim?
